Those of you who find yourselves tased on a fairly regular basis may be in for double the trouble soon. The new Taser X2 packs two shots into a single pistol-looking “electronic control device.”
The 11.5-ounce X2 has been “designed by law enforcement for law enforcement” to include the “back up shot capability for multiple targets or miss recovery,” according to the product page.
That means no reloading if the first shot happens to miss its mark or maybe just a bonus tase even if the first shot lands. Or bring along a friend! Tase me once, shame on you. Tase me twice, man that’s really uncomfortable.
