Paycheck Friday: Purchasing Suggestions for Your Perusal

It’s Friday! Maybe you just got paid. You could use that money for boring stuff like bills, rent, and food, or you could act like a wonderfully impulsive consumer and spend it on any number of products. Here are some ideas to get you started based on your taxable income bracket.

Magic Milk Straws: $2.50 each

Milk? Yuck. Milk mixed with chocolate? Most delicious. But you don’t have fancy chocolate milk money! You could mix your milk with chocolate syrup but what are you, a cave person? It’s Y2K11 and, as such, you should be drinking your milk through futuristic flavor straws.

Mmmm. Milk through a straw. Choose from chocolate, strawberry, vanilla milkshake or cookies & cream. You get six one-time-use straws for $2.50, so drink your milk and then carelessly throw the straw on the floor.

This is what was needed before they could make an Arrested Development movie. I could never really believe that Tobias and the rest of the never-nudes were wearing actual cut-offs under their regular pants.

If I didn’t have extreme doubts about the capability of the Pocket Chair to actually fold up/hold 250 lbs/ever arrive, I would actually think it’s a fairly good idea. About a foot is just high enough to add reasonable comfort and remove the risk of being devoured by fire ants, and the fact that it can fold up small enough to fit into my backpack’s adventure compartment (it holds all my MacGyver stuff and five tiny board games so far) endears it to me. Plus, you get the party pack of six, you can make them into a pocket cot!

tl;dr – I don’t understand why the pocket chair is the object of such ridicule across the interwebz when it has some merit as a concept.
