It’s Monday! Time for some handpicked gadget deals.
Lady Gaga Born This Way album: 99 cents at Amazon (today only)
Looks like Amazon just picked a fight with every other digital music store on the web. This Lady Gaga lady is going to be a big star someday!
Her new album Born This Way features her head superimposed on a motorcycle. She was born that way? Her. Poor. Mother.
The album deal is good today only so, you know. Get it if you want it.
Refurbished Amazon Kindle e-reader with 3G: $90 at Woot (today only)
Man, oh man is that a nice price (good today only) on a refurbished second-generation Kindle e-book reader with a free worldwide 3G data connection. How will Barnes & Noble ever respond with a similar deal on its Nook e-book reader? That’d sure be something, huh?
It’d have to be priced at $85 to even get people to consider going with a refurbished 3G Nook over a refurbished 3G Kindle. Wonder what’s next on this list? It could be anything!
Refurbished 80GB iPod Classic: $100 at Cowboom (today only)
Do you like music? Like, LOTS of music? Do you curse tiny MP3 players with their flash memory hard drives that only hold a little bit of music? Perhaps you’d enjoy a $100 iPod with 80 gigabytes of storage.
Sure, it’s old school and sure, it’s refurbished, but last I checked, it’s all about the music, maaaaan.
Oh, and this one does videos and photos, too. So it’s actually all about the music (maaaaan) and, to a lesser extent, about the videos and photos, too (maaaaan).
Refurbished Barnes & Noble 3G+Wi-Fi Nook e-reader: $85 at Daily Steals (today only)
Were you expecting to see this under the last slide? All that buildup with the refurbished Kindle and—poof—nothing. Until this slide! Daily Steals is selling the refurbished Barnes & Noble Nook with both a 3G and Wi-Fi connection for just $85, today only.
That’s $5 cheaper than the Kindle deal and you get a Wi-Fi connection, too. But the Kindle’s 3G connection works for free in more places around the world. Now you must choose.
HP 17-inch Core-i3 laptop: $450 at Office Depot (in-store)
Office Depot has cut the 17-inch HP G7 laptop from $680 down to $450 after a $50 mail-in rebate. You’ll have to put on pants and shoes, too, as the deal is good in stores only.
If you’ve got the will, though, you’ll get a nicely-equipped notebook with four gigabytes of memory, an Intel Core i3 processor, a 500-gigabyte hard drive, DVD burner, HDMI output, and Windows 7 Home Premium.
