No-contract Palm Pixi Plus smartphone: $58 at Newegg
You know how when you drop your phone in an outhouse and then you explain to the people at the phone store what happened? And then you expect them to give you your same phone for $200 but without all the outhouse stuff on it? And they tell you that you can’t have your phone for $200 until like a year and a half from now, but you can have it for $600 right now? And you finally realize why cool smartphones only cost $200?
So, then you ask what you can get for NOT $600 and they give you one of the phones that you see in a movie being re-run on TV Land during the afternoon on Saturday. Basically, what I’m saying is that you can buy this Palm Pixi Plus for $58 and you won’t have to start a new contract. Is it the best phone in the universe? No. Can it replace your outhouse phone until your contract’s up? Handily. Especially for $58.
