Verizon 4G Mobile Hotspot
It’s not like campus networks aren’t plenty fast, but if you’re living off campus and you don’t want to go through the hassle of getting high-speed internet set up and split between a bunch of other people, a 4G hotspot is worth looking into.
Verizon’s new 4G network is insanely fast, too, so if you’re inside one of its coverage areas, check out the MiFi 4510L hotspot. Service isn’t exactly cheap or unlimited ($50 per month for 5GB or $80 per month for 10GB) but the connection is just about as fast as home broadband, and it’s yours. All yours.
