Google has ever-so slightly updated its “Chrome” web browser to include the option to view a list of your installed apps or your most visited sites when opening a new tab, along with a redesigned Chrome Web Store that brings a handful of new apps and extensions.
There are a slew of fixes going on under the hood as well, if you’re so inclined. To update your browser, click the little wrench icon in the upper right corner, choose “About Google Chrome” and it’ll install the update if you don’t already have it. If it says “Google Chrome is up to date,” then this is a good minute or two of your life that you’re unfortunately never going to get back. If that’s the case, feel free to leave work early. I’ll smooth it over with the suits.
