Sony CEO Howard Stringer, on the company’s plans to take on the (still non-existent) Apple television set, at a breakfast hosted by the Wall Street Journal. The platform Stringer mentions is likely a combination of Sony’s “Unlimited” music and video services and its PlayStation gaming brand, all of which could potentially be integrated into future televisions. “We can’t continue selling TV sets [the way we have been],” Stringer said. “Every TV set we all make loses money.”
