$150

Hoo doggie, look at that-there deal. The long-awaited Galaxy Nexus just went on sale today at Verizon for $300 with a two-year contract. Amazon, however, has already discounted the phone to $150 in its own wireless store.

There’s a catch, of course. Multiple catches. First, the thing is backordered 8-9 days out. Second, you’ll have to be a new Verizon customer. If you’re an existing customer eligible for an upgrade, you’ll pay $200—still a good deal. If you’re an existing customer adding the phone as a new line to your account, you’ll pay $250—still kind of a good deal. If you want to purchase the phone outright with no contract obligation or extension, you’ll pay $740—hey, big spender!

Here’s a little hands-on time with the phone, if you need some encouragement.
