Bob Marley

Okay, so Bob Marley didn’t rise from the dead in a puff of thick, pungent smoke to endorse headphones at CES 2012, but his son Rohan Marley was certainly there. House of Marley’s headphones have a decidedly more populist appeal than most celebrity headphones, with earbuds retailing as low as $29.99 and on-ear headphones as low as $59.99. Eco-friendly materials like hemp, recyclable aluminum and FSC-certified woods give them a modest, rustic look — a nice break from all of the slick plastic and ostentatious bling trotted out this week.
Paul ‘Pauly D’ DelVecchio

A serious DJ needs serious headphones. Also, Pauly D could use a pair. Today the Jersey Shore star is announcing a deal with 50 Cent’s SMS Audio to develop his very own line of headphones. In an official statement, 50 Cent said “Pauly D has a true passion for music and I know he’ll put that same energy into helping us develop and promote a quality headphone line.” Whatever these new “quality” headphones look like, we hope they’re tricked out like a beer helmet so he can DJ continuously without stopping for Red Bull-and-vodka breaks.
