Vizio’s Thin + Light laptops are part of the company’s first foray into personal computers. At a glance, Vizio seems to know what it’s doing, using unibody aluminum designs and FullHD displays that look excellent from most angles. In my hands-on time, I found the trackpad to be smooth despite its matte finish, and the unique look of the keyboard helps these notebooks look less like MacBook Airs than some of the competition. They’ll be available in 14-in. and 15.6-in. screen sizes this May, but no word on price yet. (Details from Vizio)
