Assassin’s Creed III jumps forward in time from the previous three games’ renaissance setting to 1776 America. Connor Kenway, the game’s new hero, brings some new skills such as archery, ax wielding and tree climbing, but as usual the most interesting part of game is its historical setting, which bounces between colonial cities such as Boston and New York. It’ll be just like being there–except a lot more killing.
