Joe Belfiore, corporate vice president of Microsoft, introduces the Windows Phone 8 mobile operating system.
On Monday in Hollywood, Microsoft told the world that it was going to make Windows 8 tablets. It was one of the biggest announcements in the company’s history, but there’s more Windows news to come.
Today, at an event in San Francisco, Microsoft is going to talk about the future of Windows Phone, its inventive, not-yet-very-successful phone operating system. I’ll be in the audience, and will be sharing highlights of the announcement over on Twitter–where I’m @harrymccracken–starting at 12pm ET/9am PT. Hope to see you there. I’ll share thoughts on what I learn here later today.
