Have you ever noticed in The Elder Scrolls games that rain and snow ignore the basic laws of physics? Like the one where water and ice generally don’t go through structures like roofs or other obstructive overhead material? The Rain and Snow Clipping mod fixes this odd (and series perpetual) oversight at an estimated cost of just “1-2 fps loss.” Oh, and it also sends kids hightailing for their homes when the rain starts to fall. Since it’s trigger-based, i.e. the mod author had to hand-craft “trigger” points in select cities where rain and snow shouldn’t be able to fall, only two cities are (mostly) supported at this point: Whiterun and Riverwood.
