Launched in the 1960s, Rock’ Em Sock’ Em Robots let you control the punching arms of a pint-sized robot in a boxing ring in a frantic attempt to knock the opponent’s head off. This classic game has been remade several times over the decades and even served as an inspiration for the 2011 film Real Steel.
How we’d update it: You’d be able to build your own robots from parts that would each have their own special attributes, contributing to the final robot’s overall stats. Fighting would earn you experience points, which could then be put into further upgrading your robot’s combat skills.
