A full-fledged, standalone Assassin’s Creed game for Sony’s Vita? Launched simultaneously with Assassin’s Creed III? Starring a French-African female in the lead? Will wonders never cease? And Liberation‘s assassin comes with her own semi-interesting arsenal of death-dealing tools, including a poison-dart blowpipe, machete and duel-wield pistols. The last Assassin’s Creed game for a mobile device (the PSP) was a bit of a letdown, so fingers crossed Ubisoft’s figured out how to do a mobile version of the series that’s at once Vita-centric (availing itself of the front and rear touch controls) without dumbing down the gameplay and alienating series fans.
