Bloomberg is reporting that owners of the $99 Apple TV box might get access to HBO content “by mid-2013, according to two people familiar with the plans.” The HBO Go app is available via other hardware devices such as Roku, Xbox 360, Samsung Smart TVs, iPad, iPhone and Android gadgets; just as with the currently-available streaming options for HBO Go, you’ll have to also subscribe to HBO service through your cable or satellite provider in order to stream HBO Go.
