Jobs was showing off the iPhone’s ability to find and place a call to a nearby Starbucks using Google Maps. Jobs quickly added, “No, just kidding. Wrong number, thank you.”
Fast Company managed to track down the Starbucks employee who took the call on that fateful day. She still works at the same Starbucks, and apparently people continue to call the store every once in awhile to pretend-order 4,000 lattes.
Hannah and her manager, Kimiko, figured it would take around 48 hours to whip up 4,000 lattes. You can watch Jobs place the call at around 05:30 in the below video:
