Glympse (and many other apps) require an internet connection to be able to share your location.

I've developed an app called LockOnMe which doesn't require that (although you can still use an internet connection if you want/can), since you can share via SMS.

Featuring OpenStreetMap & cool radars (like one inspired by the movie Aliens2)...

Also, while time-base location sharing has its merits, in certain circumstances I believe that you'd want people to know your last known location, or the location of certain Points Of Interest that you'd define on a map, all the time.

It's annoying that whenever I click on the forward arrow to view the next apps, the next page always scrolls down to some comments with advertising links in them. I think that is hard sell and the admin who maintains this site should be fired. I find that if I click View All and start from the last, and then click the back arrow, the annoyance does not happen.

I think the best app I found was the "wipe and light on fire" app. It works really good and does just what it's proposed to do!

For games, I like candy crush and iSwinging. For others, I usually convert videos to my iPhone with the enolsoft total iPhone converter application. Although it's not iOS app, I like it very much. :)

Grouptime should be on that list (www.grouptime.com). The app takes group messaging and sharing with family and friends to the next level.

Your attempt at getting people to click through 50 pages of a list is flat out and embarrassingly disgusting. Why not have the view all link next to the next button, or better yet be the default page thats loaded? You should come up with more creative or compelling content that would gladly be shared by users, instead of pulling this pathetic crap. You are and will continue to lose users by doing amateurish schemes like this.

Seroiusly? FIFTY PAGES you have to click and re-load. Jeezus, you really are arrogant and abusive cruds, aren't you?

I think there is one app that should have been in the top 10 that every business person, entrepreneur, and sales professional should have - CardMunch.

Once you take a picture of a business card it gets sent offshore to be manually transcribed and then sent back to the app.

From there you can add that contact to your iPhone contacts, send a LinkedIn connection request, and send  “Nice to meet you” email  just by touching a button on the app.

It also integrates with LinkedIn so you're always up to date on what your contacts are up to.

Give CardMunhch a try

@WilliamDonelsonThere is a "view all" option. But I think your point is valid. "Dear TIME, I think I will view the list on one page instead of clicking through a JavaScript slideshow just so that you can attempt to juice ad impressions per page."

@CraigElias There is another app called CamCard. It transcribes the card instantly without waiting for tens of minutes.

It can also auto-crop the card image like CamScanner and save to your digital card holder.

And the key is that you don't have to be worried about your important business contacts be leaked and seen by offshore workers like CardMunch.
