Person of Intere–I mean Watch Dogs places you in a near-future dystopia where a supercomputer dubbed “CtOS” (Central Operating System) controls all of the technology comprising the municipal DNA of Chicago, Illinois.
You play a vigilante with heightened hacking abilities, capable of manipulating the environment at will in tandem with advanced combat, stealth and parkour skills, plying those abilities in an elaborate tech-suffused open-world. If that sounds kind of like a contemporary version of Assassin’s Creed, it’s because this one’s the work of the same highly esteemed development studio: Ubisoft Montreal.
Update: Ubisoft has delayed Watch Dogs until spring 2014.
