Comcast and Twitter are teaming up to let consumers tune-in to their favorite shows straight from their Twitter feeds.
Later this fall, Twitter announced Wednesday, a “See It” button will begin appearing next to some tweets about Comcast-owned NBC Universal content. If viewers click “See It,” they’ll see an expanded Twitter post with more information about the show, and Comcast subscribers can watch or record the show. Twitter is billing it as a way to “change the channel directly from Twitter.”
It’s the most ambitious yet of Twitter’s efforts to team up with the television industry.
