Foursquare, the app that satisfies people’s urge to report where they eat, drink and shop, released an update on Wednesday which will allow users to trace the minutiae of daily life in even more minute detail.
Mayors of Foursquare-ville can now follow the movements of their friends via the “Nearby” tab (the feature will be available to non-mayors as well). The app will also send real-time recommendations on what to eat, drink and buy once the user checks into a location. The feature could expand the Foursquare community to a new set of users.
