Apple has sent invitations out to the press for an October 22 event at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco, where several past Apple events have been held.
For what it’s worth, the event invitation contains an Apple logo with the phrase, “We still have a lot to cover.” Back on October 8, AllThingsD cited unnamed sources as saying this event would be taking place on the 22nd, so this makes things official. The company is expected to roll out new iPads — both a Mini model and a full-size model — along with more info about the Mac Pro desktop and the latest version of OS X.
