Facebook already has troves of data on your friends and interests. Now it may start watching your every movement on the site, an executive told the Wall Street Journal in a report published Thursday.

Analytics chief Ken Rudin said the social network may start collecting new sorts of data, like how long you spend on a page or how long your cursor hovers over parts of the website.

The information could help the site improve its own products—and improve how ads are targeted for you. But that doesn’t make it any less creepy.
