FitbitFrom 40 winks to four mile runs, the Fitbit Force is at the ready to take 24 hours a day of quantified self stats. An update to the Fitbit Flex, this bracelet has a small OLED display that provides updates in real-time. With an onboard accelerometer and altimeter, the $130 fitness tracker calculates steps and calories burned, of course, but it also can tabulate how many stairs you’ve climbed, how long you’ve been active, how far you’ve traveled, and even how much (and how well) you slept. The band even has a silent wake alarm to get you up for those early morning runs. Syncing wirelessly with Mac and Windows computers or over Bluetooth 4.0 with Android and iOS devices, the device’s data also integrates well with popular third party apps like Run Keeper and My Fitness Pal. So, no matter what activity or interface you prefer, the Force will be with you. Unless, you know, you take it off.
