PlayStation 4 Games 1H2014
The gaming industry has taken the world by storm, with each passing day a
new and improved series of games are being released into the market for
gamers to enjoy. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.crittermap.airhockey
I'm not very impressed by the games scheduled for this year. It's probably not my demographic, but I feel like if Sony were to team up with Blizzard on something, there would be way more interest.
Kind of like this : http://www.memes.com/meme/177657
Yeah.... the problem with this article is the title. "The 12 Most Promising PlayStation 4 Games of 2014 So Far" but not one game on the list has actually been released. If you're giving a preview of the years games that provides no further insight than what's already available from numerous sources, please use a different title. I was expecting REviews, not PREviews.
The 'click-bait' formatting is both infuriating and beneath Time's dignity. I remember when the Internet was about disseminating information, not click-through revenue streams.
Not impressed with this Line Up..
This is suppose to be next gen console. Where's the Co-op based games.
I am stoked for Elder Scrolls online, Destiny, and Boardlands new Release.
That's about it...
Pretty upset about these weak releases.
@Szenk Only reason it's not, is it's listing for the 2H2014.
@AntonioJGriffin "Promising." Adjective. "Showing signs of future success." The subhead reads "A dozen upcoming titles to keep your eye on." The very first slide explains this in further detail.
Not sure what else we could've done to make it more obvious.
@AntonioJGriffin Yep. And if they wanted to talk about the games so far the fact that they didn't mention Assassin's Creed V is disappointing.
@PondexterPiolite Co-op doesn't equal next gen. There are definitely a lot of them coming, like the ones you mentioned, plus Evolve, The Division and others but that doesn't define next-gen.
@mattpeckham Probably not intentional, but surely once it's pointed out you'll realise the similarity of the article title format to what is traditionally found in clickbait: "The 12 Most ClickBaity Titles of 2014", "Five ways you didn't realise Clickbait was Leading You By The Nose", "Formulaic Titles to watch out for in the Coming Year", that sort of thing. I'm not Brian, but I think that's what he meant.
@martin.gradwell Click bait would be more like "12 Games That'll Put You in Traction," or "12 Games Your Doctor Hates More than Trans-Fat" or whatever. Spectacle, in other words. There's nothing spectacular about this story's title. It's as conventional, in the annals of print and online game preview lineups, as conventional comes.
