Retail giant Best Buy is getting in on the 7-inch Android tablet action that Samsung’s Galaxy Tab is promising this holiday season.
The other day some folks from Toshiba dropped by to show me a new laptop that they would be announcing later on in the week. Well, it’s later on in the week so now I can talk about the Toshiba Satellite L635 Kids PC.
Retail giant Best Buy is looking to cash in on the onslaught of new video game titles that will be released over the coming months by expanding its game trade-in service to over 600 of its stores.
It’s unclear when the white iPhone 4s will start shipping but iClarified supposedly has projected inventory numbers for a number of Best Buy stores across the country. For whatever reason, the stores in Florida will receive the bulk of the first shipments of the iPhone 4 from Apple.
Starting tomorrow, Best Buy stores will be taking pre-orders for the new iPhone 4. According to the press release, “Consumers who purchase the iPhone 4 at Best Buy can avoid dealing with mail-in rebates and get help from a highly-trained staff of specialists at Best Buy Mobile.”
When you think of TiVo you think of recording television shows, right? In a move that seems odd at first but begins to make more and more sense as you sit on a pier bench gazing out over the vast ocean, alone with your thoughts, this recently announced Best Buy/TiVo partnership might just work.

Everybody try to remain calm when I tell you that Best Buy may be getting ready to offer in-store pickup for the iPad. Currently you have to search store inventories, see which stores have them in stock, and then head to the store hoping to get your hands on one before they sell out.
Best Buy will begin selling Barnes & Noble’s NOOK eBook reader starting this Sunday, April 18th. Aside from merely selling the $260 device, Best Buy will also be preloading Barnes & Noble’s free “BN eReader” software on “select PCs (laptops and desktops), netbooks, tablets and smartphones,” according to a recent press release.
MacRumors.com is reporting that Best Buy will be the only other retailer to sell Apple’s iPad on launch day, April 3rd.
