Syfy Cancels Caprica, Pulls Show Entirely From Schedule

Syfy has announced that they are not only not renewing Caprica, but they will be removing the remaining episodes from their schedule starting next Tuesday, with the intent to air them at some point in the first part of 2011. Fans waiting for the return of Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica will have a much shorter wait than expected; Syfy announced today that the second half of the show’s first season will begin on October 5th at 10pm, instead of the previously announced January 2011.
