Samsung has added a 10-inch form factor to its line of “Galaxy Tab” Android tablets. The Galaxy Tab 10.1, as it’s called, features a 10-inch 1280×800-resolution screen, dual-core processor, and two cameras.
Samsung is apparently readying an Android-based music player based on its popular line of “Galaxy S” smartphones.
Samsung’s line of Galaxy S smartphones may very well hit the 10 million mark that the company predicted it’d sell by the end of the year.
A unnamed Samsung official said that they hope to move 330 million handsets next year, an 18 percent increase from 2010, according to Reuters. Starting Thursday, Verizon will be taking orders for the Samsung Continuum. It’s a $200 Android phone based on Samsung’s line of Galaxy S handsets.

Samsung’s fourth and final (this year) Android-powered Galaxy S smartphone launches this Thursday on Verizon. It will be available online starting tomorrow and in stores on Thursday for $199.99 after MIR. Look for our review a little later today.
The Samsung Epic 4G marks Sprint’s second 4G-capable Android handset and the first one with a slide-out hardware keyboard. The phone features a 4-inch, 800×480 Super AMOLED screen, Android 2.1, rear-facing 5-megapixel camera with LED flash, front-facing VGA camera, 1GHz processor, and 16GB of storage which is expandable to 32GB via microSD cards.
It’s pretty much official now. We’ve gotten word direct from Samsung that it’ll be unveiling the 7-inch “Galaxy Tab” Android Tablet on September 2nd.
Sprint’s latest 4G-enabled phone, the Samsung Epic, landed on my doorstep today. I’ll be putting it through its paces for an upcoming review, but here are some initial first impressions.
