Update: We just heard back from Lucasfilms, who told us that this was untrue.
We knew this was going to happen and tonight, Lucasfilm made it official. The entire Star Wars saga will be rereleased in 3D starting with “The Phantom Menace” come 2012.
I’m not sure that it’s a lawsuit that anyone has been waiting for, but you have to admit: There’s something kind of wonderful about seeing “Lucas Vs. Jedi Mind” on a legal docket.
The silly lawsuit filed against Hong Kong-based laser manufacturer Wicked Lasers has been dropped by Lucasfilm, reports CNN.
This is just silly.
Uber popular Android Twitter app Twidroid has been acquired by TweetUp and will now be known as Twidroyd to avoid any future altercations with Lucas Films over trademark infringement.
