We’re still a day removed from the annual Star Wars celebration here at Comic-Con, but already I’m feeling some big love for the other franchises that have been brought back and dusted off at this year’s event.
About 30 seconds after we got off the phone with The A-Team’s Murdock, er Sharlto Copley (see the interview), we rang up director Joe Carnahan to check out the story. It was a quick conversation – but such a good one that we thought we’d share it with you.
Sharlto Copley – yes, the dude from District 9 – was sprinting through New York City on Wednesday on an A-Team promotional tour, and we tracked down his cell phone number so that we could hit him up with a couple questions about the film before he made it to the airport.

When I’m not wearing my Techland goggles, I’m just your average film buff. Or maybe that should be film snob. Either way.
A little Thundercats news here – and also another chance to re-post the fan trailer that’s been making us giggle since 2008.
I have to say, this looks pretty damn cool. M. Night Shyamalan critics, say what you will, but The Last Airbender might be in the running for one of the summer’s top flicks. (Read it: The Last Airbender, the New Shyamalan?)
