It’s Syfy’s turn to take on the Brits. Just like so many BBC shows before it, Being Human is getting Americanized. The show revolves around three roommates - a vampire, werewolf and a ghost – who deal with the trials and tribulations of living the supernatural life in Detroit.
Fans waiting for the return of Battlestar Galactica prequel Caprica will have a much shorter wait than expected; Syfy announced today that the second half of the show’s first season will begin on October 5th at 10pm, instead of the previously announced January 2011.
So, now we’ve seen what the first crossover between Syfy shows that aren’t called Stargate looks like, and it has to be said, I kind of liked it. Maybe it’s because I’m a comic fan and therefore shared universes and crossovers and cameos and everything like that is like catnip to me, but watching characters from Eureka and Warehouse 13 wander into each other’s worlds with last week’s episodes of their respective series made me want to see more of this Syfy-verse, and sooner rather than later, if possible.
