It’s the end of an era: Deluxe Entertainment Services Group and Technicolor, two iconic names in the movie industry for almost a century, have signed subcontracting deals that, more than likely, herald the end of actual film being used for motion pictures.
Almost a century after the company was created, Technicolor is moving to be at the forefront of another technological revolution. The company has announced that it will open 3D conversion units for both movies and television projects in Los Angeles, London and Bangalore.
