Hoax: Man Flaps Android-Powered Bird Wings, Flies with Wii Remotes [Updated]

Imagine strapping on a pair of giant multicolored wings, except they're not actually attached to your arms — you control them without actually touching them, waving your hands up and down in the air, birdlike, causing the wings to move in tandem.

New Wii Remote Plus on the Way?

Nintendo’s got a history of rolling out new accessories or add-ons with new game releases. Think back to 1997 and the vibrating Rumble Pak bundled in with Star Fox 64. More recently, they’ve done the same thing with the Wii Zapper and Link’s Crossbow Training and have included the Wii Wheel with Mario Kart Wii.

Harry Potter Watch Out: The Wii Has A Wand+ Now

Nyko Technologies’ Wand+ for the Wii looks suspiciously like the Nintendo Wii Remote, but the company behind it says it can do much more. They proclaim that it features Full Motion Technology support, Trans-Port Technology (which supposedly means it can pass sound and vibration signals to other Nintendo Wii related products) and Bluetooth communication.
