6. Lenovo U1

The U1 from Lenovo is…different. The hybrid offers the best of both worlds: a tablet and laptop. Each portion houses a different OS and processor. When docked, the U1 runs Windows 7 and the tablet itself runs a customized Linux distro. The tablet comes in at 1.6 lbs and is powered by Qualcomm’s 1GHz Snapdragon processor. When docked, the U1 weighs a total of 3.8 lbs with an Intel Core2 Duo U4100 running the show. It starts out at $1000. Too rich for my blood, but it’s a pretty cool design.
