The first live-action Marvel show was actually a segment on the fondly remembered PBS kids’ program The Electric Company, where “Spidey Super Stories” appeared from 1974 to 1977. Danny Seagren played Spider-Man; villains included Count Dracula (played by Morgan Freeman) and a bookworm (played by a sock puppet). Here’s a sample. Marvel also published a Spidey Super Stories comic book that ran until 1982.
