Fashion Blogger Jordana Bruner of Clutch22 shares her nerdy side in a guest post about the latest in chic geekery. When faced with the dilemma of choosing between a pair of Christian Louboutin pumps or a new accessory for her DSLR, she’ll almost always choose the latter. Clutch22 is an independent style blog that covers everything from runways to personal style with an occasional gadget or two.

When it comes to tech, most chicks care just as much about what’s on the outside as they do the inside. What’s new, right? Since first debuting on the runways last September, fashion techies everywhere have been waiting for the next Vivienne Tam HP digital clutch to hit stores. According to HP’s announcement today, the waiting is just about over. Similar to its sold-out sibling in 2009, the new HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition promises to offer just as much on the inside as its stylish exterior and then some.

If you like what you see so far, here’s what you can expect when you open it up. For starters, unlike the predecessor, the second edition has Beats™ by Dr. Dre™ audio software for rocking…err, geeking out to your favorite tunes and Microsoft Windows® 7 Premium. Additional details include:

  • Up to 5.5 hours of battery life
  • 10.1-inch diagonal LED widescreen display
  • Extra large keyboard
  • Built-in webcam (for all you Skypers and closet Chat Roulette users)
  • HP QuickWeb for easy access
  • Two gigabytes of memory
  • Automatic backup software

“As a fashion designer I have always found inspiration in bringing contrasting worlds together,” said Tam. “I use computers in every aspect of my life so it seemed natural to marry fashion and technology. Together with HP, we created this movement of fashionable tech accessories with the second-edition digital clutch.”

The HP Mini 210 Vivienne Tam Edition is expected to be available March 19 with a starting price of $599 and it can be reserved today at www.hp.com/viviennetam. It will also be available at U.S. retailers including Neiman Marcus, Amazon.com, Best Buy and J&R Electronics.

Want more? HP also announced it will be selling a matching Vivienne Tam wireless mouse for $39.99 and two weeks ago, Monster Cable unveiled Vivienne Tam butterfly in-ear speakers that will be out this spring for approximately $199.
