Sprint Passes On Nexus One

Sprint announced in March that it would follow suit and make available the Nexus One in the near future. Seven days later the HTC EVO 4G was announced. In late April Google announced via the Nexus One blog that Verizon customers were better off ordering the HTC Incredible, a “cousin of the Nexus One that is similarly feature-packed.” Many, including myself, were grasping at straws hoping that Sprint would deliver on the CDMA Nexus One.

Well, Sprint is now changing their tune by fully backing the upcoming HTC built EVO 4G as the Android device of choice and for good reason. It rocks a 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 4.3-inch touchscreen, 720p HDMI out, built-in kickstand, two cameras and support for 4G.

Me thinks we’ll be getting more info on the EVO 4G sometime this week. *hint hint*
