Kathryn and Stuart Immonen initially serialized their WWII art-preservation drama Moving Pictures online a few years ago. It’s now being published as a single volume by Top Shelf, which debuted at the Toronto Comic Arts Festival this weekend and will soon be in stores. If you only know the Immonens from their superhero projects (Runaways, Ultimate Spider-Man, New Avengers), this scene–a tense conversation between German officer Rolf Hauptmann and curator Ila Gardner–offers a taste of a different side of their talents.
