Kinect for Xbox 360 Priced at $150

Mystery solved.

While it’s still unofficial, the above photo confirms the $150 price point on the Kinect sensor for Xbox 360 that was “leaked” by Gamestop, Best Buy, Amazon and other online retailers last week during E3. Consider this an official reveal from Microsoft.

A couple things I’ve learned about Kinect that I didn’t already know from the product page. Kinect requires 175MB of memory and it ships with a Wi-Fi extension cable. The former, I get but why does it need Wi-Fi?

Anyway, it’s safe to say that Microsoft will sell Kinect for $150. No more, no less.
