Seth Grahame-Smith, writer of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter, has a new gig that doesn’t involve creating monster mash-ups of old classics – because this one comes pre-monstered. According to Deadline Hollywood, He’s just signed on to write a new script for the in-development-a-long-time big screen adaptation of supernatural sixties soap opera Dark Shadows being produced by Tim Burton.
This’ll be the second time that Grahame-Smith and Burton work together; Burton and Wanted director Timur Bekmambetov have optioned his Lincoln novel, with a view to Bekemambetov directing.
