In a surprise announcement today, the publisher of Resident Evil, Street Fighter and Dead Rising announced that the Blue Bomber’s coming back in an all-new game. Mega Man–the character who put the company on the map–will be returning in an all-new game that will debut on PSN and XBLA. But, he’s not coming alone either.

The teaser trailer above features Ryu from Street Fighter and Arthur from Ghosts ‘N’ Goblins. The action seems to indicate that Mega Man’s ability absorption powers may get juiced up to a whole new level. And the arcade in that messy boy’s room features a slew of Capcom classics like Final Fight, 1942 and Darkstalkers so there’s a chance that we’ll see those games in some form or fashion. That guy at the end of the trailer. The goofy hero from the horrible American box art for the first Mega Man game. Love to see what they do with him.

Capcom’s going to be giving out foam replicas of the hero’s Mega Buster arm cannon next week at Comic-Con, so more info about the new game may be forthcoming.
