Man Stabbed In the Face Over Seating Squabble at Comic-Con

Reports are trickling out of the Hall H that an attendee has been stabbed in the face with a pen after a squabble over seating just before the Marvel Studios panel. Other attendees jumped in to stop the fight before things escalated even further. The victim was taken to the hospital and his condition is unknown. The attacker is now in the custody of the San Diego Police Department. The panel has been delayed until further notice.

While we don’t know the exact details of what happened it’s not that surprising. Folks are camping outside of Hall H in tent city, often times overnight. While Muslims flock to Mecca, nerds flock to Comic-Con and hell hath no fury like a Comic-Con goer looking for a seat before the Marvel Studios panel.
