And so it was written: all motion-control platforms must have a game that demands you flail wildly into the air to knock out an on-screen opponent. Wii Sports‘ Boxing starts this mess in the current console generation and we’ve already seen The Fight (formerly called Motion Fighters) for Playstation Move in its early stages.

Now Ubisoft’s prepping a similar experience with Fighters Uncaged. It’s an Xbox 360 exclusive for use with the Kinect camera. From the looks of the trailer, it looks like a Tekken/Street Fighter-style fighter with an international cast of tattooed martial artists. Not a woman among the bunch, though.

The interesting thing about games like these is that they’re essentially pitting individual slothfulness against the fantasy of being a bad-ass. Fighters Uncaged also promises to teach players MMA strikes & techniques too. A video game that teaches people how to hit? Nope, won’t be any problem with that whatsoever.

Your body becomes a deadly weapon in November of this year. Let your enemies beware.
