As any parent can tell you, kids are actually NOT free. Unless you have at least eight of them, at which point you can get your own TV show or a cool comic book name like Octomom.
For everyone else, kids are expensive to raise. T-Mobile is hoping to appeal to that inevitability with its new Kids Are Free promotion, which allows new and existing two-line family plan customers to add up to three additional lines for free until 2012.
You’ll have to pay a one-time $35 activation fee and monthly taxes and fees for each line, but T-Mobile’s standard $5 to $10 per month/per line fees will be waived. The promotion is good until November 2nd.
To sweeten the deal, T-Mobile is also offering a buy one, get one free offer on the Samsung Vibrant Android phone.
