One of the many advantages of owning an Android device over others is quick and easy access to Google products like Goggles, Earth and Voice for various reasons. Today, the Voice team released an update for Android with two home screen widgets that give you immediate access to your inbox and settings.

The Inbox widget pulls up the latest voicemail or text messages and displays them on the homescreen for you to peruse. Selecting any of the messages will launch the Voice app.

The Setttings widget includes shortcuts to four essential Voice features. You can quickly launch the app, compose and send text messages, change dialing preferences and flip on a Do Not Disturb feature. It even displays your Google Voice credits.
