Razer Goes Bungeeing with Mice

Razer, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high-end gaming peripherals, announced today that Ed Larkin, designer and inventor of the original Mouse Bungee, will join their design team. Their new collaboration, the Razer Mouse Bungee is due out worldwide in Q4 2010.

The Mouse Bungee essentially suspends a wired mouse’s cord in the air, therefore allowing for tangle-free performance much akin to wireless mice. Wired mice might sound anachronistic to most, but for hard-core gamers, where every fraction of a millisecond counts, wired mice negates the slight lag generated when a wireless mouse transmits to its receiver.

Most gamers won’t notice the difference, but if you’ve hit that millisecond-wall that is cramping your style, or you just feel like bringing back the 1990s wired action, check out the Razer Mouse Bungee for all your mouse suspending needs.

As for me, I’ll be sticking with my wireless mouse and awesome mouse pad.
