Foursquare Branching Out to the West Coast

Westward ho! Foursquare is opening an office on the other side of the country to the (not so) sunny city of San Francisco – and they’ve announce that they’re hiring.

“So, if you love Mission-style burritos, temperate climates, and want to work on some of the most exciting data and engineering problems in the world, contact us,” the social media outlet wrote on their official blog.

Foursquare is based out of New York City, and according to the company has grown from 100,000 to 4.5 million users on six different phone platforms in just the past year. While they’re still hiring at headquarters, they want to staff tech-savvy engineerings. They already have a presence in San Francisco at the Square building, but are making space for a full team.
