If you’re flying Delta out of New York City this holiday season, make sure to check out the iPads that have been installed to make your waiting before boarding time a little more fun. USA Today reports the airlines has installed 135 devices at three of JFK’s gates, typically at food establishments like Croque Madame, a French restaurant at Gates 21 and 22 in Terminal 2 and Bar Brace, an Italian restaurant at Gate 15 in Terminal 3. The iPads have a restaurant menu app that allows users to order items from airport food establishments and have them deliver it directly to their terminal. However, the Apple devices come with free Wi-Fi with no time limit that can can be used to surf the internet, update your Facebook status or check how delayed your flight really is. La Guardia is supposed to be receiving the same iPad treatment in the next couple weeks.
