Are you one of the 37 million people who has downloaded the handset game, Angry Birds? Do you think it needs a Christmas revamp? For free? Got your attention now, haven’t we?

(Take a look at the Guide for Christmas Shopping 2010 on TIME.com.)

You read that correct. Angry Birds‘ developer, Rovio, announced via Twitter that they will indeed be releasing free Christmas levels of the game to update the Halloween levels which cost the mobile gamer $0.99 earlier this year. If you were unlucky enough to miss out on the Halloween version then it will cost you just $0.99 for handsets which support the Android OS and the iPhone or $1.99 for the iPad. Angry Birds Christmas will provide the gamer with pigs in Santa hats to target with your arsenal of birds alongside snowy backdrops full of Christmas trees and icicles.

And the Christmas version certainly will not be the last you see of the insanely popular mobile and tablet game as the producers have also announced plans for versions to be released on the PS3, Nintendo Wii, XBOX 360 and, potentially, a Nintendo DS version as well. There are also rumors of the app’s pending release on the Windows 7 mobile devices. Could this be the quickest expansion of a mobile game ever? (Via Gaj-It.com)
