Hosts of the Discovery show Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman will investigate a myth about Greek scientist Archimedes, who reportedly set fire to enemy ships using only mirrors and the sun – perhaps Obama is looking in on some sustainable warfare initiatives. Though don’t expect the president to get his hands dirty. “I’m pleased to welcome Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, known as the Mythbusters. I can announce today that I taped a special guest appearance for their show, although I didn’t get to blow anything up… I was a little frustrated about that,” told the media from the White House in October.
The episode airs tonight on the Discovery Channel at 9 p.m. ET.
